VLCC reiterates its commitment to Maharashtra: Plans to increase its footprint across all its businesses

08 March 2017:VLCC, the Indian beauty and wellness brand,today reinstated its focus on Maharashtra state by announcing its expansion plans that expand its footprint in the state. The company is present in the state across 11 cities with 15 wellness centers in Mumbai and 35 wellness centers, and 8 institutes.

According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-4), in Maharashtra, 23.5% women are obese (32.4% obese women in urban and 14.6% in rural), marginally behind men – with 23.8% men being obese – 31.2% in urban and 16.4% in rural. Maharashtra also has higher instances of diabetes in urban (10.9 per cent) than in rural areas (6.5).
